This aircraft crashed on October 21, 2004, with only the pilot onboard who survived. The flight was from Exuma to Ft. Lauderdale and was approaching FLL when the number 2 engine developed low manifold pressure problems, possibly due to fuel exhaustion. The pilot opted to ditch in the ocean off the coast because he could not maintain altitude. He was rescued by a Coast Guard helicopter thereafter.
