Ashley, I am impressed! The Amish in Lancaster County are more well to do than the Amish in our community. They also wear more colorful clothing. Our Amish are strictly blue and green. :o)

I visited this area as a kid many, many years ago. I remember it as a very unique place. You really captured the essence of the Amish well in this gallery. Beautiful photos.

My daughter graduated from Penn State in Happy Valley (State College, Pa.) and on our way there we would pass Amish farms. It is remarkable that they have been able to hold onto their culture in this modern age. It was always peaceful looking and their farms were immaculate. You have captured it well! V!
