The Little Church

I took a 'little' camera to a 'little' church today.
It was a Kodak Baby Brownie Special 127.

This little church, Christ Church, Mount Pleasant SC, had its foundation laid in
1707. It seems to have had a somewhat tumultuous history. Destroyed by accidental
fire in 1724; set on fire by the British Army in 1782, and destroyed yet again in
1865. Throughout, the walls remained standing and the church was rebuilt each time;
the last in 1874. Since 1874, thus far, it has enjoyed a peaceful later life.
(I suspect Smoking is now prohibited.)

The images produced by this tiny little box camera are quite pleasing. It is
the most basic of cameras, with a single speed, and a vague cloudy viewfinder.
But the Croatian-made EFKE R100 seems to have saved the day, and despite aberrations
and some fuzzy corners, there is a nice 'quality' to the images. I thought a light
toning was appropriate for the camera, the film, and the church!
