A salute to the 'oldtimers' - pyrogallol, metol, and Kodalk.
Various 'solutions' and 'brews' based around pyrogallol (pyro) were
commonly used as a developer in the 19th and early/mid 20th
centuries, and are enjoying somewhat of a retro popularity
with some photographers and printmakers in the 21st century.
(Complete with rubbers gloves, dust mask and eye protection!)
