Boots Film

John Boot opened a herbalist shop in Goose Gate, Nottingham, UK in 1849.
Boots the Chemist (Pharmacy) has been a UK institution ever since. When
I lived in England, I bought my film in a Boots. This is my PS manipulated
'Polaroid' memory. A macro 35mm of a trinket on a film box, 'worked over'.

The history of Boots from 1849, both the family and the corporation,
is quite a good read, if you care. :-) ENTER HERE

Ilford Film has a history back to 1879 - my guess is that
Boots the Chemist was a sales point for it before 1900. hide exif
