Park Boatshed 1

Charleston SC

Harman Titan 45 Pinhole Camera, ƒ206 and 75mm ƒocal length.
Exposed for 45 seconds onto Fuji Neopan Acros 4x5 with EI 80.
Developed in Ilford DD-X 1+4 for 10.5 secs at 20ºC.

I chose to make an image protected from the continuing gale force winds
and I am glad I did. This is a straight scan and the first vertical composition
I have made with this camera. I set the camera on a tripod, at 24" above the deck end.

I continue to be so impressed with the capability of this camera.
The exposure is good, and distortion is negligible (given the
focal length is equivalent to around 18mm on the 35mm camera.)
As seen here, the depth of field is good from about 24" to infinity.

Ol' black water...

It has a magical quality, dreamy and serene, and with detail right into the darks.
No sign of your gales, due to the long exposure, I guess.
A symphony in solitude.

Super pinhole work Colin! This image looks sooooooo old-fashioned! VV
