Just past the bottom of the garden ...

Charleston SC

"There are fairies at the bottom of our garden!
It's not so very, very far away;
You pass the gardner's shed and you just keep straight ahead
--I do so hope they've really come to stay.
There's a little wood, with moss in it and beetles,
And a little stream that quietly runs through;
You wouldn't think they'd dare to come merrymaking there--
Well, they do."

- from the poem by Rose Amy Fyleman (1877–1957)

Nicely isolated Colin.

well done!....just the right isolation against the background bokeh, rendered beautifully by that tessar.....V

Well, Colin.
That is extraordinary.
When I saw the thumbnail, that old poem from long ago is what I heard in my mind's eye (a mixed metaphor probably, but hope you get my drift).
Total magic.

Delicate and well separated from the back ground. Love the square Rollei format. Makes me nostalgic.

Love the light and DOF and the poem.
