This is the first model c1953 of the first 35mm camera series by Riken (later Ricoh).
This model has the name on the front plate. The second design (1955) had a revised
top housing with the name on the top plate and room for a rangefinder to be added
in later models. The third model (Ricolet III) has a rangefinder.
The lenses are by Ricoh and the shutter is Riken, as I understand it. However, there is
some information to suggest this may have a Tomioka lens.
This camera is in good condition, after a CLA and especially some work on the 'frozen' helical focus.
The second Ricolet model is here
Not to be confused with the Swiss Throat Lozenges ... Ricolaaaaaaaaa.
