Five Frame Pano Bencini

Charleston, SC

An image from the 1953 Italian made Bencini Koroll 24 S shown here

This is a straight scan of a strip of 5 negatives. The frames are tightly packed, and a
challenge when cutting the developed film into strips for the archives file. :-)

These exposures all in bright sun, and focused at infinty. Perhaps the least vignetting, and overall clarity. I did not
use a tripod, of course, but I am amazed how closely the centre three frames line up. :-) Remember, I had to bring
the camera down to waist level, wind the film on, and raise it back for the next frame. No power winder on this baby. =:-D
This 'image' is about the same as a 6x15 camera (if there was one). It would probably stitch to 6x12.

I think the rounded corners of the frames are a nice touch ! This image, at 'original', is about 20% larger than actual negative size.

Fuji Acros 120 roll exposed at iso80, developed in Ilfosol 3, 1:11 @21C for 5.75 mins.
Scanned at 16 bits, Grayscale, 2800dpi.

Bencini Koroll 24 S, Acromat 1:9,0 ƒ=55mm, Fuji Acros 100

other sizes: small medium original auto

Nice job Colin. As you've noted those middle 3 are perfect. I always go left to right and sometimes have trouble with the horizons on the right hand side.
cheers!

The details make the difference .
Agree with you to make the corner rounded .
