Kodak Brownie 2A Pair #1

Mount Pleasant SC

I suggest "original"size viewing.

I'm quite pleased with this. :-)) Using 120 roll film (2.25") , running it through
the 2.5" film gate, leaves the imprint of the film maker border details, and you
still miss some image. The viewfinder(s) show for the 2.5" so there is a little
'cropping'. I chose 50 iso film because the shutter sounds like it is probably
around 1/25. I also braced the camera for each exposure. The thin white
lines are from my piece of glass I used to weigh down the negative strip for
scanning (the biggest piece I have). The actual negative image size is 2 7/16"
by 4 1/2" (5.08 x 11.43cm). The light leak at the top edge is most likely the
(used to be) red window at the back, which is now very faded. Although I put a
red 'sticky note' over the window, I will need to used black tape next time as
light still entered. I'm happy with the clarity of the lens.

The camera is HERE

Very nice result for a simple boxcamera. Very nice size and ratio of the negatives.

This must be great fun to do! There is a very pleasant 'softness" produced.
