Yashica-A Working Parts

This Yashica-A TLR has 'issues' with the shutter firing mechanism
making correct contact to release the cocked spring, thus allowing
the shutter blades to open and close.

Nothing that a hammer cannot fix. ;-)

PS. Ignore the loss of the vulcanite (yes, not leatherette on the 'A')
- it is 'petrified' and cracked in several places and is to be replaced.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I remember using vulcanizing patches to repair punctures. :~)

I think, maybe, it is not just the leatherette which is cracked ;-))

Is it now working well? I think you must know:http://www.aki-asahi.com/store/ andhttp://www.cameraleather.com/ for leatherette replacement!
Good luck my friend.
