Two for the price of one.
Using old cameras is fun. But they are not automatic! With this old Balda, c.1939, taking
huge 6x9cm images, you must remember to advance the film (looking through a very
dark red window for the next number), set focus, set the shutter speed and cock the shutter
spring, and select the aperture. Oh, and compose the image through a very small and cloudy
glass prism. Here, I have done most things right. Except wind the film on. And so I have
a double exposure. Oops. But luckily, I shot one horizontal and one vertical composition.
I think it looks interesting. So I thought I would share it ! Incidentally, because the negative
is so large, I cropped just a small section of it for the next gallery image. Yeah! for large negatives.
