All shots on this gallery were taken, mostly as grab shots, without any filter. Auto white balance and aperture priority on the camera was used for both indoor and outdoor shots. The DNG files were converted with an alternative camera profile (most of them, at least) using Capture One Pro verstion 3.7.6.
Fast forward to March 2007 - After receiving the M8 back from Solms, I started playing with IR cut filters and quickly thereafter, started taking real pictures instead of just test shots. The images listed after the subgallery "Leica M8 and M Lenses" were taken more recently after these changes. Most recent images were taken with either Leica or B+W IR cut filters. Capture One Pro 3.7.7 and its new M8 color profile was used to convert the DNG files. My confidence in the M8 went that much up that I took it, in combination with a Canon 1DsMarkII, to a recent China trip. If you feel like it, please visit this gallery: http://www.pbase.com/ageojo/china_in_the_eye_of_leica_m8 for images taken only with the M8 or this gallery: http://www.pbase.com/ageojo/silk_road for the entire gallery. Thank you for visiting. As a courtesy, please let me know if you are linking to any of the images, please.
