Count the Whiskers of Approaching Tiger

Austin, Texas

Right off the bat, I must admit that it was captured at a zoo in Austin, TX. There is chainlink fence (it shows also in the background) and bars between the tiger and yours truly. The tiger was pacing up and down in his sizeable cage. I pushed the front of the lens at the fence and then aimed in between two bars. I waited and waited until the tiger came straight and looked at me. It is the best shot out of several with only minimal signs of the tiger inside the cage/behind the fence. And yes, the final image was cropped as well. This 200-400 lens is the ultimate zoom lens for the zoo!
