RO System

Put into service 23 May 2010. From left:
100 gal. atmospheric storage tank. No-contact (capacitative) level switch on front turns off RO unit when water reaches level of sensor which can be moved to bracket above if more water is wanted. Float switches at top on right side can be selected when a full tank is desired and shut off RO unit in the event of capacitative sensor failure.

Mounted to wall: pressure switches (lower, electronic, controls pump - upper is backup mechanical switch to protect pressure tank in event of electronic pressure switch failure.

Below pressure switches: diaphragm pump

Pressure (air bladder) tank (~ 35 gal at 45 psig.)

RO unit (2 white cylinders at left on RO unit contain the actual RO membrane cartridges)

Above RO unit: control box. RO and diaphragm pump can be turned on manually or operate automatically. In auto mode diaphragm pump is turned off if low level float in atmospheric tank is activated and stays off for 10 minutes after float is reset.
