Pre Rup was built by Rajendravarman II and it consists of a pyramid shaped temple with the top third tier carry 5 square shrines. Pre Rup means "Turning the Body" and refers to a traditional method of cremation where the corpse's outline is traced in the cinders, 1st in one direction, then the other. This suggests it may have been a royal crematorium.
