I was lucky enought to stumble across Eddie and Jack and their newly founded Tao Philippines as my last chance to find a way to El Nido and Northern Palawan. They were offering a trip from Coron town to El Nido over 3 days with stops along this remote part of the last frontier of the Philippines. The people were great, the food was great, the destinations were remote and beautiful, all in all the adventure I was looking for /dreaming of. We all even decided to extend the trip for 2 days doing the Bacuit Archipelago. Track them down if you are in the Philippines, it will be the highlight of your trip. http://www.taophilippines.com
Peter, you can see that the dates of the photos in the "full exif" link under each photo. My time in El Nido was very early December. I do not remember the wind being strong most days, I do remember one very windy night. The sea was very tranquil the whole time and I dont think the waves were much of an issue. I hope that helps.
