Moa

Primitive Hawaiian native fern "moa" a word that also means
chicken in Hawaiian. Children played a game by interlocking the
the delicate branches and tugging - the owner of the branch that
did not break would crow like a rooster!
The yellow tri-lobed globes contain spores. In ancient time the
spores were used as a "talc" power.
