The storeHouse is a place to work, think and shoot and like-minded people are always welcome to drop by and share, photograph or be photographed. You can nip in for a quick portrait, buy a print, book in for a serious or fun session or even rent the studio yourself if you want to learn formal photographic technique. I am also planning to start basic classes in digital photography for absolute beginners and in studio technique whenever I can get a group of five to ten students willing to pay a modest fee. If you want to learn how to shoot your ebay items properly with a simple compact, I can help there too. At present I write and shoot for a major Australian photography magazine (Digital Photography and Design) and shoot stock photographs as well as teaching philosophy and photography, writing technical materials for profit and poetry and fiction for the love of it.

My Work
I am interested in all forms of people photography and I’m happy to take on all kinds of assignment – from simple portraits to corporate, mad dress-ups, fashion and glamour portfolios, implied and actual nude – absolutely whatever you want to do. In thirty years, I’ve seen it all so just ask. While I prefer to shoot people, I'm happy to take on simple advertising and product work as well. Give me a call, email or drop by for a chat and a drink and we’ll work something out. Just don’t ask me about weddings though unless it’s a very small, casual and informal version – I’m allergic to big, white frocks and desperate mothers!

Where is it?
Up in the hills but worth the trip. The studio is in Belgrave, just behind the main street and above the Commonwealth Bank. Entry is from the car park on the hill above Belgrave - down the steps. All day free parking is available on that side of the car park. It’s convenient to most of the Eastern suburbs – straight up Toorak Road/Burwood Hwy. The studio is handy to restaurants, cafés, pizza, organic food, music, tourist venues and forest. It’s like a cross between Carlton and a country town. Great place for a day out – put the kids on Puffing Billy while you join me or just enjoy the local café culture where I sometimes sit and write.
When?
At present, evenings and weekends as I still have a day job! But also some times during the day – at the moment, most afternoons. Plus any time at all during school holidays. This may change. Give me a call and arrange a time.
