My 2007 custom 13 x 19 inch photographic calendar is a collection of some my photographs taken in 2006 in Acadia National Park, New Mexico and in the Appalachians.

In Photoshop CS2, I created a new white background .psd document at 13 x 19 inches. Then I converted the template .gif file to .psd and cropped the bottom calendar part of the template and moved it into the new document as a layer. Make sure that the Photoshop Image Mode of the document is RGB color (not Indexed color - otherwise your image will look like a negative). Insert image (13.5 " x ~9", 8 bit) in by dragging it in to create a new layer. Add title and other text as a text layer. For the cover page I used 13" roll paper so I could do borderless printing. The cover page uses a background image that was an enlarged portion of a flower image set at ~60% opacity in a layer.
Printing was done on Inkpress Photochrome Luster paper (about $1 per sheet if you buy it in boxes of 50 sheets) on my Epson 4000 using archival Ultrachrome inks. I plan to do a run of about 50 calendars this year (that is 650, 13 x 19 prints!) so I ordered the paper in 500 sheet bulk from Steve at http://www.prographics.com who gave me a price break!
This year, I plan to use the same bindery I discovered last year (NorthEast Bindery in Elizabeth, New Jersey) that is able to do Wire-O binding with a thumbcut notch so that a nice wire hanger can be used.
