More than 600 animals and local fauna reside in this zoo and gardens in Palm Desert, CA. There also is a large model train display and a spokesman to explain who built what. He said that some oldtimer Hollywood model builders helped build this collection. In the winter months, thousands visit this unusual place to enjoy the warm weather and see the animals, plants and birds. Large avaries hold vultures and other birds.
