I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted to in Botswana. I did go into the Okacango Delta and into Chobe National Park, two must sees in Botswana.

We were in the land rovers on our way back to the camp when we saw this elephant by the side of the road. He came up to the car and looked at us, then went back to eating.
Then some more elephants wandered over. They were HUGE!
These guys were following us as we made our way back to camp.
We were coming back from the delta in our mokoros when this huge crocodile that had been sunning itself crawled into the water. We hoped he left our canoe alone.
We camped here, and we were not allowed to swim in the river because of crocodiles. There was a cage you could go and swim in, the current runs pretty fast, so you just swim against it in the cage. I didn't want to swim, but I wondered what stopped the crocodiles from wandering into camp if they wanted to!
The Kalahari was beautiful and seemed to go on forever.
Sometimes it looked red and sometimes it looked like I imagine the moon would.
I got this bruise from white water rafting on the Zambezi river. The girl sitting in front of my lost control and swung her paddle around, I threw up my arm to protect my head, and voila! This is about a week after it happened, it was much more colorful before and went all the way from my elbow to my shoulder and most of the way around my arm!
