Oswestry, but more importantly the surrounding countryside, where I was born and spent the first 17 years of my life was one big adventure playground with sandstone caves, rivers, canals, hills and heaps of open countryside.

I have spent most of my working life either under the sea or on top of it. I have had and continue to have, the life I have always wanted. left the Royal Navy in 1986 I started working offshore, and I have been given some wonderful opportunites to have worked and travelled from within the Norwegian Arctic Circle to South Africa and from Brazil to the Philippines by way of the U.S, Ghana, Nigeria, Equatoral Guinea, Republic of Congo, Angola, Tunisia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Holland, France, Sicily, Italy, Egypt, Russia, Turkey, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Azerbaijan and Thailand.
