At aboue is Jianshih Hill at 1,124 meters above sea level. At the foot of this hill, a sharp and large roc grand and magnificent. Although the rock has been eroded under the sun, rainwater and wind, it still stands upright, symbolizing the brave, loyal, righteous, unyielding and courageous spirit of theaborigines. Subsequently, it gained its name of Jianshih Rock (meaning "Sharp Rock.")
The rock is35 meters long and 20 meters wide, which is also ahe legend, this "sharp rock" has been existing forrs flow. Although there are lots of rocks in the Believing that it is an incarnation of God, Taiya tribesmen built a small temple in front, and erected the stone tablet of God Jianshih for people to worship.hips in Hsinchu County. Visitors can walk past thluo River and Jiale Rover. An evergreen old pinetree grows at the top of this rock. This sight is natural defense for the township.
I am in Hsinchu now (1st time in Taiwan). Will be taking a train to NeiWan tomorrow. Your photography skill is top notch. Love your compositon and eye on details. Well done.
