I spent a full day at Merrit island NWR. The morning was rather eventless and saw just a few birds along the Black point wild drive, may be it was too late in the morning. The afternoon was far more rewarding along the Bio Lab road where I spent 2 hours shooting several reddish egrets (unfortunately juvenile) and had two great sightings of ospreys with fresh catch.
