Kgalagadi transfrontier park september 2014

I spent 10 days in the park in september. Temperatures were very hot (38° C in the afternoon) and past 9 am, it was difficullt to see animals other than browsers. I saw a lot of lions but for the first time in 4 visits no spotted cats excepted 2 cheetahs at night.

J’ai séjourné 10 jours dans le parc en septembre. Il faisait très chaud (38° l’après midi) et passé 9h du matin il était difficile de voir un animal autre qu’un herbivore. J’ai vu beaucoup de lions, mais pour la 1ère fois en 4 visites aucun félin tacheté, mis à part 2 guépards vus de nuit.

I see you love the park. So do I. I woul dnot go there in September, but many people do and have good results. i am not sure about the temperatures. Too hot for me. Normally, it should not be that hot. You were unlucky, I think. Still, great trip!
