The need of----the Gold Standard.
The need of----0 redistribution of wealth by theft by the government.
The need of----0 taxes.

Many times the poor go to a place looking for opportunity where wealth that can only be produced by true Freedom, has been produced.

So these poor could be a good thing after all coming out of the Second World War, Hong Kong was dirt poor.

Very interesting... I'd like to see more pictures of the "mundane" and even poor areas of Hong Kong. All the lights and big buildings are nice, but i'm sure it doesn't capture the full picture.

But the old buildings are gone now. New high-rises are being built.

I think about those nasty old buildings in that shot every time I go passed on the MTR each morning. It really sums up Hong Kong. Anyone who didn't know better would thing you photoshopped the old walk up into the picture.

This is HK so there is as it was.
It's a nice picture for the alarm for the lazy people who always want to get the free reward without pains.

real good picture.
I like the "yellow" street light effect in the foreground that seperated wtih the "white" light in the background.
I wonder how the picture will like to take at day time?

Beautifully composed picture. Really does show the different levels of Hong Kong's society.

Another good location for a shot like this is from the park in Mong Kok
