They're nearly over now but I am reluctant to throw them out, they have lasted well.

A simple bunch of flowers, a birthday gift from my daughter and all the more precious for their simplicity.

It is so easy to be drawn by the bright and showy things around us and put a greater value on them.

I think perhaps I'll press some of these last flowers as a reminder........
