| Auburn firefighters responded to this house fire in the early morning hours of July 20th. The fire apparently began in a ceiling fan and spread quickly throughout the attic space of the large wood-frame dwelling. The roof eventually collapsed in the C/D corner of the building and it compromised the roof the entire length of the ridge line. Auburn jakes used a combination of interior streams and judicious use of an aerial stream from Tower 1. The Leicester FD responded to the scene to assist, and the Oxford FD covered the empty Auburn firehouses. |
