Here is a gallery for my pictures taken at the Yellowstone National Park recently. I was there for a four days early summer vacation. Known as the first and largest national park in the US, this park surely serves as a 'heaven' for photographers.
Wildlife and geysers are abundant and both are the main attractions of this park. In addition, it is also easy to find numerous falls, meandering rivers, ponds and lakes, valleys, as well as a scenic view either by hiking or driving (don't forget to drive the 'Beartooth Highway' in the northeast of the park!). I spotted grizzly bear and black bear, a lot of elks, wolves, coyotes, and perhaps hundreds of bisons (they are everywhere!).
I started my trip from the west part of the park through a west entrance at the West Yellowstone, WY and then drove north and stayed at Gardine, MT. From Gardine, I drove east to Lammar Valley, Cooke City, and Beartooth Highway. Then, I headed to the the middle of the park (Old Faithful, Yellowstone Lake and Canyon, etc.). Finally, I drove south to Jacksonhole, WY and continued my trip in another spectacular park, the Grand Teton NP.
