...This is another 911R factory original Scheel Racing Bucket Seat which was recently nicely restored, but not as accurately as I would like it to be. From my observation, it appears that some of the original factory construction details like the 'hand stitching' and the 'diagonal stitch-line' http://www.pbase.com/9146gt/image/137114511 are both missing http://www.pbase.com/9146gt/image/137128875 in some areas. This was possibly done in an effort to make the restoration work a bit easier, save time and money. The metal eyelets used in the curdoroy are also not the same as the originals. It would be difficult to further inspect any other details just by these few photos, but I can tell you this is not how I would personally like to see my factory 911R seat restored.
