MONTE CARLO GT - This GT also had the parking brake relocated to the center and the area of the tunnel reinforced http://www.pbase.com/9146gt/image/88612422 to eliminate flexing and more positive braking response (and so did the Nurbergring GT as well http://www.pbase.com/9146gt/image/88612423)
NURBURGRING GT - Take a look at this photo http://www.pbase.com/9146gt/image/88612429 and note the colored arrows. The parking brake lever of this GT was heavily modified. It appears that it was cut and made longer (Purple Arrow). It was also reinforced (Green Arrow) and a new shorter mounting bracket was fabricated (Red Arrow). The lever also has a 'pawl and rachet' system different from the factory 914-6 and some 911s (Blue Arrow). Can you identify the pawl-rachet used in this lever?
