...This is my 2nd set of 46mm WEBER carburetors. All the performance modifications have already been implemented saving me additional dollars. About the "911R Magnesium Intake Manifolds". They are NOT really Magnesium! These are almost a "perfect" reproduction of the Porsche factory 911R Magnesium intake manifolds but cast in Aluminum instead. The castings were created by Tilton Engineering years ago as a request from a "good friend". The reproduction is so good (finish and all!) that the only way I could tell was by the missing factory casting numbers and a slight variation at the base of the manifold flange.
