...The Bray/Smith GT was offered for sale 10/15/2007 at Euro 55,000

This White 914-6 GT is a recreation project completed by Richard Cory Smith. The car is photographed at Ash Farm, Iddesleigh Devon, England. This car was built by Roger Bray and Richard Smith using many NOS original 914-6 GT parts sourced from Europe and America. This project was eventually sold to Wolfram Reuter in Frankfurt who had been the owner of the Chasseuil, Ballot -Lena Le Mans GT. Mr. Reuter loaned this car to the Auto Museum at Sinsheim where it was on display for several years. The GT was next owned by Adam Richardson (London UK) and was run in the Tour De France Auto in the 1990's but DNF due to gearbox problems and as far as we know, the car's only competitive venture. This GT was made available for sale at the Essen Classic show with FIA papers claiming to be a genuine GT - which it is not (other than by component recognition).

Hello Armando, I´m the current owner of the white 914-6 GT (# 9140431730, not 9140431703). The car was 1970 sold to the French Porsche Importeur Sonauto and it has some special features as you discribes in your last update from 10/15/2007. The car in for sale now because I used it only one time in the last years. The asking price is 55.000,00 Euro. This includes:2,5 twin ignition engine (running single ignition distribute at present for reliabiltey), 7+8 15“ Fuchs wheels, front and back balsa hoods, 908 Oil-Thermostat, gear box oil pump, chassis Strengthening and roof/bars, ignition cut off and fire extinguisher system.
