...This is a pair Koni rear racing shocks (date code 10-73). I understand the 'yellow' version of these shocks was first made available starting in 1973, Koni also changed the color of the shock body from their signature 'red' to the 'yellow' during this year. At this point I have yet to verify if the color change was due to internal valving specification improvements made, I only suspect that this was in fact the case.
