I couldn't believe it, but was able to located and purchase this NOS 917 Oil Thermostat unit, not cheap at $3,500. I've collected these over the years and now have three other 917 oil thermostats in inventory. The 917 oil thermostats have the incorporated mounting bracket and are internally larger, the oil line ports are 26mm i.d., not 22mm as the street 69S.
