A nice addition to any Heuer 'period' Rallye Timer collection...

Here is what happened... The German eBayer set up his auction not allowing bids or shipments outside of Germany, even eBay restricted me from contacting the eBay Seller. I could not ask a simple question, no direct contact with the Seller, period! The BIN price was originally set at Euro 289 ($343) https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/155592478/original, but with no bids placed and a few days later, the Seller reduced his BIN asking price to Euro 189 ($260) and I just could not pass that up. I immediately contacted a friend located in Germany, Dr. Dirk Baumann and asked him to please exercise the BIN purchase for me at the listed Euro 189 successfully making the purchase https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/155607938 of the now vintage Heuer katalog. Thanks again Dr. Baumann!!!

Most people would have the opinion I still paid too much, but it is all relative, when compared to this other recent closed sale at $636 https://pbase.com/9146gt/9146gt_rally_gear_heuer_sales_catalog_1960s, then I don't feel I did too bad.
