This is to Deborah Buffalin, Hi I read your comment about your grandfather being the one who designed the Haynes amplifiers, I have owned a Haynes Organ King II amp along with a Panther Combo Organ for over 41 years now and that Organ King is still a great sounding amp. The speaker cabinet design produces fantastic sound coming from just one 12" speaker. The only problem I am having after all these years is the color control for the reverb isn't doing much although the reverb is still working great Would you happen to have, or know anyone who still might have the schematics for the Organ King?If so please get back to me at rdemartino@embarqmail.com I have been searching the web for anything on that amp but can't find anything. Thanks, I will never part with that Haynes Organ King II Amp,

I'm feeling nostalgic after commemorating what would have been my late grandfather, Nathan M. Hanyes' 100th birthday, and am pleased to see positive comments about his "Haynes Jazz King" and "Haynes Bass King" amps! He had many audio and electrical engineering patents in his name and through Bell Labs and his company, Amplifier Corporation of America, but his pet projects were the amps. Enjoy the music!

I see you have a Haynes Jazz King. I have a different Haynes amp. Do you use yours much?
I like mine because of its crusty character. Let me know if you would like to see a picture of it. I love your collection of gear.

I'm in the process of restoring a '36 tenor triolian. The tuning pegs were replaced, kind of cock-eyed. What kind of tuners does yours have ? I'm thinking kluson deluxe with oval plastic buttons are the closest thing, am I wrong?
