Hey Dave Cantrell - I was there in NKP Apr 72-73 I remember you and a few other guys from the ole 23rd tass - Donzi (ran into the A-6 parachute when we were in Danang - Jim Little - Doran - Harper - Berenzen - other guys I can see their faces but not the names. Hope all is well. Jim Welford.

I arrived in 02/72 and there was only Broncos on the line. No O-2s the year I was there.

You must have missed it. I left in 02/72 and we had more O-2's than you could shake a stick at. The OV-10's turned base leg over the base. The O-2'a were more blue collar. lol

This pics was before I arrived 03/72. No O-2s in my time. This ramp was for our OV-10 w/laser pods, call sign 'Paved Nail xxx'. Revetment line was the 'regular' OV-10A. We had 11 each and flew 15 - 18 acft turn 2 daily. We worked 6da/12hrs weeks 'till Cambodian treaty was signed. Sadly the day after... We had open ranks (with shirts on). Teams of 3 SR NCOs roamed base writing people up for 35-10 violations. Guess they didn't need the 'push' anymore.
