Scott F. Burpee born August 9, 1951 Seattle, WA. Enlisted USAF in February 1971, graduated SP School May 1971, and K-9 School, August 1971. Assigned Fairchild AFB WA, September 1971, through June 1972. Assigned Kunsan AFB, Korea, August 1972 through November 1972. Transferred to UTPAO AFB Thailand, November 1972 through August 1973 transferred back to Fairchild September 1973. Served in Azores Islands during 1973 Arab Israeli War. Awarded Small Arms Expert, Vietnam Campaign, Vietnamese Service and Israeli Defense Ribbons. Honorably discharged June 1974. Graduated, Seattle University with a BA in Business Administration 1978. Married Jan Marie Eastman, July 1978, spent 2 ½ years with World Concern in Juba Sudan, running logistics for 13 mission stations and projects and had first son Steve . 1985 moved to St. Maries, ID to become founder and CEO of Valley Vista Care Services operating 3 Nursing Homes, 7 Assisted Livings, Mental Health Programs and a variety of Senior Programs. Recently started International Aid Services – USA with my youngest son Al.
