I was stationed at Ubon RTAFB in June 1974. Since Ubon was shut down I was sent to Udorn in Dec 1974 until Dec 1975. Loved the duty there as a Security Policeman/Investigator. Had fun and to this day I love Thai food. "Sawadee Kop"

Oct 74-Jan76 I became a K-9 because I liked the work.I fell in love with the work and stayed as long as I could.Josh Z0044.Now I am a fat old man,but still love my dogs. still remember feeling like a Judas goat and taking dogs to be given the golden needle.

I was stationed at Udorn Thailand from July 1970 to July 1971. I think it was the same time as E. Childers. I need your help in finding someone or some kind of records showing they used guys from other squdrons to help in quarding the base perimeter for 45 days. I would be grateful for your help. I was stationed at Udorn from July 1 71 to July 30 72 and handled Mike, great dog! Doest anyone know where John Thompson or Paul Benjamin are? incidently We did'nt get our black berets until 72, I remember cuz I had one heck of a hangover the morning we burnt our fatique hats. also inerested in hearing from anyother dog handler from that time period. contact Bob Ralston at james951@comcast.net

brings back good times,and sad times. the best time was when i got bit on my left wrist and holding the dog up so he would not bite me any where else.i guess we were all a little nuts;but that is life in as a k-9 handler.young,crazy and fearless.
