A short train ride from Taipei City will bring you to the Danshui River and this lovely town that seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. Walk along the river and enjoy the view and all the little shops you'll find. This is where I will be living when I arrive in Taiwan (actually, just a very short distance south, in Zhuwei), and I'm so happy about that! Danshui is one of my favorite places to go, and I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time walking along the water there.
