2/27/2009 ~ Busch Gardens

Day number one found us arriving at the Sarasota/Bradenton Airport at noon. We drove north to Tampa Bay where we checked into the Hampton Inn-North Tampa near Busch Gardens. That African-themed park is where we spent the remainder of the day. I would've liked clearer photos, but unfortunately I flew out of Syracuse that morning with a raging fever and the first symptoms of the bronchial bug that is plaguing the northeast even a month later. I simply wasn't up to the task, but I did unequivocally enjoy the Park, and am thankful to my understanding travel companion for putting up with me.
