2010 Last calendar year for templates. These month by month 'strip style' calendar templates are designed to be small and discrete so that they don't distract from the main image. They are intended to be overlaid along a vertical or horizontal edge, they can be made even more discrete by restricting their size to as little as half the length of the photo's edge. To ensure the template is clearly readable it may be wise depending on the image to fade the edge over which the template is intended to be placed. To get good results you really need to be somewhat familiar with image manipulation software. I have uploaded these templates only in GIF with transparent backgrounds as they are intended to be overlaid on background images.
