Note: When I covered this Final Four tournament UPI was almost bankrupt. I was given 8 rolls of film to cover this entire tournament...and still I got the sports front of the Washington Times with this image. I was the only photographer to think ahead and bring a mono pod, long cable release and a flash to shoot from above. Flash is NOT allowed at a major tournament like this...but it was over, what were they going to do? Throw me out? LOL That afternoon we drove to Augusta to cover the Masters golf tournament. Was a great week and a great time.
