Your photos are lovely. Thanks for sharing. Do you crop on your LCD screen or on the computer? That is probably a dump question...but I am new to the photo world. Just got the canon rebel XT for Christmas and now I need a lense. Looks like this one will work great? Do you surf? We will be doing alot of surfing shots with it. Happy New Year.

Looks much sharper than my 75-300 IS, but I really would have liked to have seen you post some unretouched photos of shots at 300mm f/5.6.

Great Review on Amazon! Thank You for all of your effort to demonstrate the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens. Looks like a winner for the money. i can't wait to get one of my own.

Great pix. I'm new to the Canon family of equipment. Recently purchased a 20D with 18-135 mm IS USM. Love them both, will be getting the 70-300mm IS soon. Any advice for an excited beginner looking for quality training on how to max use of all this camera & lense has to offer? Would appreciate it.

Your images are great. Very sharp - great color rendition. I just got this lens and took it out twice for short periods. I'm very happy with it.
