1956 Studebaker Transtar 1/2 Ton Pickup

Here are numerous pictures of the "Ebayker," my 1956 Studebaker pickup purchased on Ebay. Prior to purchasing it, the truck had been used as the maintenance vehicle for a northern California ski resort since it was new.

I've divided all of the pictures into subgalleries based on the stage of the rebuild. There are nearly 200 pictures to look at overall (mostly from Stages 6 & 7). At this point, the majority of the chassis & driveline work is complete (minus powder coating the frame & suspension). Now...it's onto doing body & paint work. Before too long, it might actually start resembling a truck again :)

I would also like to take the time to thank the following people & companies that have helped make this project a reality: Mitch Drouillard, Fred Militello, Stainless Steel Brake Corporation (SSBC), Phoenix Transmission, Bob Kjorli at Street Rod Fabrication, Terry Rosebush Motorsports, Marc Daniel, Don Krueger, MSD Ignition, Be Cool, Inc, Barry Grant, Mark 7 Machine, Lorne Drouillard & Fred Wicks. I would not have made nearly as much progress without the help & expertise of everyone of you!
