Not much of a take, either.

Of course, I'm kidding.

This oldie is some beauty, you did a great job Larry, not breaking anything. V.

This is great, nicely antiqued too. But we have to work on your target selection (and I don't mean for photos, wink wink, nudge).

I called the cops before I read your dialogue! Oops...sorry, sending bail money! This is fabulous and I really think you should have this printed! I think this is one of your best!

Larry ... another Norman Rockwell'ish photo ... I'm amazed how you see these things. I'm envious ...

John, I did steal from the rich and gave to the poorest person I know--me.
John Cooper19-May-2007 12:04
Larry, I tried that Robin Hood rubbish once.
I stole from the rich and gave it to the poor.
Then some clever little bleeder pointed out that now the poor were rich.
So I stole it all back, and gave it to the new poor.
Along comes C.L.B. again, at that precise moment I retired and went down the pub for a pint.

Steve Ainsworth18-May-2007 16:51
Whether you robbed it or not, I think you paid the owners a compliment by making this fine image of their store. The effect and the warm sepia tones work well.
Guest 18-May-2007 11:36
very nice shot! V
caveman_lee18-May-2007 10:29
Nice B&W treatment. Good shot.
Soenda18-May-2007 09:52
At least you have your memories, even if the swag was disappointing...the thrill of breaking and entering...the adrenaline rush when the owner stopped by unexpectedly...the delirious joy when you weren't discovered...the staggering disappointment when you found the safe and cash register empty...and the thrill of the getaway. Don't they say that any robbery you walk away from is a good one...or is that plane crashes?

Knowing you it would be much more likely that you would break into some place to add items to their inventory as a way of helping them out. Larry "Robing Hood" Braden...steeling from himself to give to the disadvantaged. Yup...that's a WHOLE lot more likely than you burglering anyone. Ya big softy! We need to give you a humanitarian award.

Beautiful image, pretty indeed
Dave Beedon18-May-2007 05:13
I like the effect around the edges.
flowsnow18-May-2007 04:34 left the diamond (agree with Tian) by the window. It's should say - A Teahouse instead of jewellery. Great shot Larry!
LeeG18-May-2007 04:00
If you're now on the lamb, Soenda can take a great picture of you for your "Wanted" poster.
You do nice work Larry!

Wei O'Connell18-May-2007 03:57
No kidding, you left a huge diamond by the window!!!
Excellent shot and treatment. Agree with Char.
Dave Beedon18-May-2007 02:18
By "kidding," do you mean that it was a good take?
Gary Winters18-May-2007 02:04
I think I'll agree with Char. Great work!
Char18-May-2007 01:36
Hi Larry,
I think you took a pretty priceless picture! Now you should print it and take it in and sell it to them to compensate ;>)) This is a wonderful scene.
