My dad bought us a little second-hand lawn tractor to cut the grass when we were teenagers. I remember how cool cutting the lawn became then. We would streak back and forth at speeds of up to four miles per hour. What hoodlums!

This shot has a wonderful Midwestern feeling. Whitewash and vinyl siding, prudently sharing a wall, the two buildings look like they are good neighbors. The brightly colored tractors must seem very alluring to people in the market for a new tractor. Maybe people stop in to kick the tires after townhall meetings? I bet there's a lot of tractor envy going on in Rubicon.
