No,'s just upside down. The public works guys are going to come back later and dig a hole for it. Then they'll tip it over and fill it with flower planters. Probably pansies and chrysanthemums for fall. I think some one slipped up with putting an f into the instructions. It was meant to say "art in public places." Just a fsilly fsmistake.

Yes, but if I were to specify the one, pandemonium would break out in Portland, Oregon.

Any particular sailboat in mind, Dave?

I appreciate Dan's suggestion, but this "art" is too sophisticated for Renton.
This sculpture would make a good, one-time anchor for a sailboat.

At least the people were honest and the government paid attention. This is literally on the outskirts of town. There are two of these and the other says "observer" like that makes any sense. I cropped it out. I don't get what some call art.

We have something similar in Melbourne, officially called Vault. The sculpture popularly known as the Yellow Peril is an angular assemblage of yellow-painted steel panels by Robertson-Swann. It sparked public outcry after it was installed in 1980. The consensus was that it was an eyesore and a year later, it was removed from the Swanston Street square.

Thanks for the spelling check, John. I corrected it.

It would look good in downtown Renton...

Larry, you spelt donated wrong, it should be d.u.m.p.e.d.

All around, I think, junk. I hope vandals get hold of it. Or maybe they placed it there.

A solid representaion of failed urine tests?

Because the color pollution. Plus, it looks like a junky shirt that dyed with sweat.
